After living downtown, in the Beaches and in East York, I’ve moved back to North York (the eastern side of it) to live with my husband of 6 years. We’re both musicians, we freelance, teach & compose and have 4 cats.

After Northview Hts., I moved downtown and did odd jobs like secretarial temp work while I was finishing my courses at the Conservatory of Music, then got a job booking a recording studio. As soon as I had enough private music students to survive, I became a full time freelance musician. Lots of weddings have passed as well as some fun jobs like playing in orchestras backing Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis, Jr., the Disney Show, Ice Show. I have a trio (flute/violin/cello) that played at a gala for Prince Charles & the late Princess Diana, at the opening of BCE Place and at the re-opening of the AGO.

Most recently, I have been the flutist/pianist at Temple Sinai, and the musical partner of harpist Sharlene Wallace, with whom I have recorded & toured. I am presently preparing material for my first solo CD. I teach private music lessons at home and at the Claude Watson School for the Arts.

I’m pleased to say that I regularly hang out with my dear friends Rhonda (Kress) Grosman and Linda (Fraser) Kearns. We don’t let a birthday go by without lunch and presents either in Toronto at the Montana or in Guelph.

Once again, I’m looking forward to seeing you at this next get-together. Thank you Rhonda!!
