My story:
So I just went to York U and simply took up space.
Actually, I really enjoyed York and made many new lifelong friends.
It was an easy transition from Newtonbrook; the good times just continued.
After university, although I had a background in electronics, computer science, Medical electronics etc.; I also had a love of flying.
I had two immediate opportunities open to me at that time. - Avionics or broadcast television. Television production seemed like a fun time, and that was the direction I followed.
I worked for the fledgling Global Television Network, where I was responsible for the Technical side of broadcasting and production. We produced everything from the weekly Wintario, News and sports, movies, syndicated tv shows, and concerts. I also often worked for the major Networks in the States, and televised major sporting events.
Years later, I decided that I was away from home too often. I left Global for the TV and Feature Film Post production industry. This involves all aspects of editing, special effects, and sound recording.
Many thanks to Rhonda and and all others involved for their efforts in making this reunion a reality.
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone.
Bye for now. Lee
